Ever heard the term “kill two birds with one stone.” This is what the Jews had in mind when they discovered Jesus was in Jerusalem along with Lazarus. They wanted to kill Jesus because Jesus demonstrated the power of God and Lazarus because he was proof that the power of God was at work through Jesus. The religious leaders wanted to kill them, but God protected them. People can’t kill what God has made alive in Christ. They can’t kill your praise. And the next day, the crowds shouted “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
